Security guard houses that are manned 24/7 require a high degree of comfort for your security guard personnel. For this reason, a guard shack including a built-in restroom is often necessary. Troy Metal Buildings (TMB) security booth designs can use restrooms for security guards alone, or, bathroom for use by guests, either separately, or in the same space. TMB Restrooms are ADA compliant to meet the most current building codes.

The typical TMB factory assembled security guard houses are white china for the lavatory and water closet. Meanwhile, each portable steel building is designed to be installed over stubbed up pipes for water and sanitary. Holes are pre-cut in the floor of the portable security shack to allow for a easy placement over pre-placed services.

Bathroom facilities normally include: toilet paper holder, paper towel dispenser, mirror, and a faucet. A point of use water heater and an exhaust fan are also provided in addition to the light and the GFI outlet in portable security house.

Once the TMB security booth is at the installation site, the general contractor will usually surface mount (exposed) piping on the walls of the security shack alternately, you can specify that your guardhouse include a factory installed plumbing kit designed for a single water supply connection and one sewer hook up. Chemical, composting, and even electric toilets are also available for those locations where distances are cost prohibitive for traditional piping and plumbing.
